What is nature? It's everything that exists in the world independently of people， such as pants and animals， earth and rocks， and the weather.

Now more and more people are focusing on the nature. It is no doubt that the nature is important to every human being. No nature， no life. Because of the supplies of the nature， we have lived happily for a long time. And we started to gain every thing available from the nature. And this lasted so long a time. Today， people have discovered that the nature around is getting worse and worse.

What is threatening the nature? Air and water pollution， overharvesting of plant and animal species， overpopulation and so on. Overpopulation is the biggest source of pollution. Let's take overpopulation as an example.

What does overpopulation feel like? When we move slowly through the city in a tazi. When we enter a crowded slum district. When the temperature is high and when the air is thick with dust and smoke. The streets are crowded with people. The streets seem alive with people. People eating. People washing. People talking. People sleeping. People visiting each other， arguing and screaming. People relieving themselves. People pushing their hands through the taxi windows， begging. People leading animals. People， people， people， people. As we drive slowly through the crowd， sounding the taxi's horn， the dust， heat， noise and cooking fires made it like a scene from hell! I admit， frightening.

To the nature， overpopulation is a big problem. More people， more pollution. And the big population is threatening the nature every second.

The rapid rise in world population is not creating problems only for the developing countries. The whole world faces the problem that raw materials are being used up at an increasing rate and food production can not keep up with the population increase. People in rich countries make the heaviest demands on the world's resources， its food， fuel and land， and cause the most pollution. A baby born in the United States will use in his lifetime 30 times more of the world's resources than a baby born in India. Unless all the countries of the world take united action to deal with the population explosion there will be more and more people fighting for a share of less and less land， food and fuel， and the future will bring poverty， misery and war to us all.

For most of the developing countries， it is a good idea to control the population growth. For example， China has carried out birth control for years. And this plan has a great effect on the world population.

If the population continues to increase， if the air and water continue to be polluted， if we don't do something to protect wild-plant and wildlife species will be declining. Species and biological communities have difficulty adapting to change. Economic opportunities and the quality of life of future generations are also put at risk. By protecting nature， we protect ourselves.

Let's unite together， hand in hand we stand all across the land.

We can make this world in which to live. Hand in hand. Control the population growth. Take good care of our nature.

countries, people have to cut trees for living. So there's nothing to keep water from running away. Also we have polluted the

It's time that we must do something useful to protect our environment. We can plant trees and take good care of them. We can

save the water and ask our parents to do so. We can't throw any litter onto the ground and we should collect them for recycling.

my name is , i’m a lovely girl. i’m from zhangcun primary school. today, it’ s my great honor to be here. the title of my speech is “to be a good traveler”.

i love traveling very much. i’m so exciting to visit different places. it’s a good way to make new friends. moreover, it’s like reading a book.

yes, i love traveling. but i hate to see that environment has changed worse and worse. many unknown places are built into resorts, trees are cut down, rivers and lakes are polluted.

but to our delight, our government has become more and more concerned with the protection of the environment.

the government has been doing a great job. and what about us? what should we do? it’s just one step to take, for you, for me, for everyone. if every tourist uses less plastic bags, how much white pollution would disappear; if everyone tries to reach one place of interest on foot, how much clearer the sky would be; and if no guest asks the hotel to change towels every day, how much less detergent would be drained.

it is not difficult, right? it’s just as simple as the famous slogan,“please take away nothing but your smile, and leave behind nothing but your footprint.” i believe that we all love our earth. so, now let’s turn our passion in to action. if not us, who? if not now, when?

First, stop using plastic bags, boxes and bottles. Stores should be required to use the bags, boxes and bottles which are made from paper.

Secondly, more and more trees and flowers should be planted to keep our surrounding clean. People must be required to plant plants around their houses and work places.

Finally, we must control the pollution by law, according to which, polluted water and air exhausted from factories should be forbidden.

These are some of the measures that we can take to protect our environment and they are not hard tasks for us. Remember, the earth is the only planet we could live at present.

Since the first day, BNBM has paid more attention to protect the environment as its social responsibility, by developing green building materials, producing green products and creating green enterprise. According to the spirit of "From the nature, for the nature and return to the mature", BNBM has tried its best in developing new technology and improving equipment to reduce the pollution.

It is undeniable that the worsening environment has become the biggest concern of the present-day world. Land resources are dwindling because of water loss and soil erosion. Waste gases poison the air we breathe. The rivers and lakes are polluted by waste dumped in them from factories. It is probably no exaggeration to say that deterioration of the quality of the environment threatens the existence of mankind itself.

Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is the price we have to pay for economic development. But I do not think that this argument is valid. After all, what is the point of economic growth if people’s lives are adversely alfected by worsening environmental pollution?

There is plenty of evidence to show that sustainable development can be achieved by balancing economic growth with protection of the environment. The key to achieving this is to make people aware of the seriousness of the problem. Both governments and ordinary citizens should join hands to make this world a better place to live in, not only for ourselves, but also for future generations.
