  material, teaching aims and demands, student analysis, teaching methods, learning methods and procedures.

  Part 1 Analysis of the teaching material .

  Status and functions :

  The topic of this unit is about________________. It is from the unit ______of PEP English go for it the _______semester of grade ______. This is an interesting topic for students .So all the activities in this unit are helpful to raise students learning interest. As we all know, interest

  is the best teacher for students .This unit includes two sections

  (section A and section B). I will finish section A from 1a to Grammar Focus in this period. Let students learn happily and easily. All the activities in this lesson are designed to help Ss consolidate the language points in this unit.

  Part 2 Teaching Aims and Demands Knowledge objects:

  The Ss can master the usage of the important words, expressions and sentences.

  Ability objects:

  To develop the Ss abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. To improve the students reading ability. To guide Ss to set up effective studying strategies. Emotion or moral objects:

  By studying this lesson,the students will put the moral education in the language study.

  In order to achieve these aims, we must be clear about the important points and difficult points: The important points:

  Part3 Teaching Methods

  In my opinion, the main instructional aims of learning English in the Middle School is to develop the students abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and their good sense of English language. So in this unit, Ill mainly use Communicative Approach(交际教学法), Task-based language teaching (). The Situational Approach() .

  Part4 The Studying of Students and learning Methods

  Most of the students are from the countryside, and most of them are poor in cooperative learning skills. Some students are not active in the class, and some students dont like English. Therefore, Ill make Ss get the knowledge actively by probe study and cooperative study and let the Ss pass ObservationImitationPractice to study. Part5 Teaching Procedure

  Period 1(1a--- Grammar Focus)

  Step 1 warming up It will cost 3 minutes

  In this step , Ill ask students to have a free talk with the knowledge they have learnt last lesson . In this way , students will pay their attention to our class easily , and their speakingability will be improved . Step 2 leading in It will cost 2minutes .

  Ill show some pictures about__________________, and tell something about _________, these can form a relaxing atmosphere and let the students get ready for the next step . Step 3 presentation Itll cost 20 minutes

  Ill show some words and sentences ,and ask students to guess the meaning of new words , with the help of PPT . Ill set a real situation to help the class learn new words and sentence pattern .students can follow the tape recorder reading words and text .

  Situational approach is used here . Step 4 practice Itll cost 10 minutes

  In this step , Ill divide the whole class into 4groups to have a competition by reading the dialog and role-playing . Then ,Ill ask students to make a new dialog to check if they can use new words and sentence pattern correctly .

  Task-based teaching method is used here,and students cooperation ability will be well developed .

  Step 5 summary Itll cost 5 minutes .

  In this step ,Ill guide students to conclude key words and sentence pattern to wide their knowledge

  In the end ,Ill give some homework ,go over todays lesson and preview next lesson , go to the library or search the internet for some information ,then write a short passage .

  I. Lead in: (1 min) free talk/pictures/videos

  Now class begins. Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today?(指向自己的动作)Im fine too, thank you, sit down please. This class, we are going to learn a new unit together. Before class, Ill divide you into four groups. This is boys group,this is your tree(用树代表男女生组,分两组其实足够了,以免浪费时间,用苹果树做加分标志不会显得太单调)...If you can answer my question correctly and actively, you can get an apple,OK?

  (如果一时紧张忘了说什么,可以问一下学生So, whats the title? 让学生读出来,老师再教读一遍。)

  II. Pre-reading: (2mins)

  1) Brainstorm

  So,now. Who can tell me, when we think about (阅读的主题), we usually think of what? (此时画个示意图在黑板上,也就是思维发散图,中间画个圆圈写主题,四周写学生想到的与主题相关的东西)

  2) Prediction

  With the help of the title(and the picture), could you please tell me what will be talked about in the passage? Let answer this question group by group. OK?

  In your opinion, what may this article talk about?

  (Well, you are pretty good at predicting.)

  Now, lets see is he right,OK?

  III. While-reading:(4 min)

  1) Skimming (1 min): main idea of the passage and topic sentence of each paragraph.

  So,now. You have only 2 mins. Read it quickly and find the main idea of this passage , and whats the main idea of each paragraph ,OK?(此时下台check学生的完成情况,说些鼓励的话,如Yes, you are right. You are very clever. Oh, you are making progress. 记住,与空气互动,不要与考官互动,因为那是大忌)

  Time is up, so, who can tell me. 抽问两个学生,积极鼓励,并加分。

  2) Scanning (2 min):

  This time, lets read for more details. Lets go through the whole passage and try to find the answers to the questions on the paper I gave you before.OK?Remember when you read the passage, you are sure to meet some new words. Dont be eager to look them up. Try to underline them and guess their meanings according to the context. Understand me? Here we go! Time is up. Have you finished? Lets check answers together.

  (如果时间不够,建议只问两个问题就可以了,可以是教材上的问题,可以自己想的问题,一般会问What; Who; When; Where; Why; How这几大类。如果实在不知道就自己挑个很简单的也无所谓,考生很多,没有考官那么仔细听你讲。)

  3) Intensive reading( 2 min): pair work/group discussion/debate

  IV. Post-reading (1 min) role-play/interview/retell

  Here is a dialogue based on the passage.Now, you work in groups and discuss about the dialogue, and practice it. After 2 mins, Ill ask some of you to act it out,OK?
