today, my speech is about talents,in my opionion, talents are indispensable in nowadays society. as is known to all that the fight among countries is actually the fight among talents.

first, id like to define the wordtalent in my idea, a talent is one person who is good at or expertised in some or multiple areas. nowadays, as the world developing goes on , if one country want to rank top or do a good job in the world, the country must have many talents.for example, china, the biggest developing country in the world, in the past 100 years, is always invaded by other countries, why ,the reason is that china at that time had not so many talents. if they had anti-intrusion leader talents in the war, needless to say,they would have beat those big powers.if they had talents in weapons manufacturing, nodody dares to provoke us.however, nowadays, its a totally different situation, china has become powerfulin all over the world, why ? because there are many talents serving the country, the civilians become more and more literated.more and more people go to university,more and more people come to receive further education. so what is that in return,talents in army protect our country from invasion, talents in commerce help make our economy keep in improving, talents in aerospace make the world see chinese manned spacecraft flying. talents in sports make china rank the first in the olympic games......

to sum up, talents will play a more and more impoetant role in the world, if one country intends to flourish, he must foster talents as many as they can ,thats all,thank you.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, Im very glad to make a speech here. Today my topic is I love you, China.

Since the day I was born, I began to have a proud nameChinese. Since the day I began to talk, the most beautiful sentence Ive ever learnt has been I love you, China!

I love you, China, and Im so proud of being a Chinese. Im proud that Ive got the beautiful yellow skin, black eyes and black hair. Im also proud that I speak the most beautiful language in the worldChinese.

I love you, China, for I can feel the deep love you give me every day, every minute. Last year, I got an opportunity to visit the United States of America. During my staying there, my fathers boss once invited my family to dinner. While at table, he looked at me and asked: Little boy, how long have you been in America? About a month, I answered, How lucky you are! he said, If you were living in China, how could you learn such perfect English? I smiled and told him proudly that all the students in China are able to learn English at school. I saw his surprised eyes and said to myself, Im proud of you, China. For you are offering us the best education.

When I came back from the USA, my friends asked me: How do you feel about your staying there? Wonderful I said. Then why do you come back? Hearing this, I told them there were lots of beautiful countries in the world, but none of them can compare with our own countryChina. How true the saying is: Theres no place like home!

I love you, China. As a young student, all we should do is to study hard and devote ourselves whole-heartedly in the future, to the great cause of building you into an even stronger and greater country in the world. I love you, my dear motherland! I love you, China!

Honorable judges, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen:

It is a great honor and pleasure to be here on this beautiful Saturday morning to share with you my sentiments about life and passion for the English language.

About a year and a half ago, I took part in my very first English Speech Contest. When I stood before the microphone with all eyes starring directly at me, I could hardly speak. I stood there, embarrassed and helpless, struggling in vain for the right thing to say. My fears had paralyzed me.

While my passion for English has never changed, I lost my courage to speak in public. When my professor again encouraged me to take part in this Competition, I said no. I couldnt endure yet another painful experience. He looked me straight in the eye and said something that pierced my heart. I will never forget his words. Look, he said, We all have our fears, and you have yours. You could twist your ankle in a basketball game, but then be afraid to ever play again. Running away can never dispel your fears, but action will. A winner is not one who never fails，but one who never quits.

I spent a whole day with his words twisting and turning in my mind. Then I made the bravest and wisest decision of my life: I would face my fears and take part in the competition!

As it turned out, my dear old professor was right. Now, here I am, once again standing before a microphone. My heart is beating fast, and my mouth is dry, but most importantly, I have faced my fears -- and that makes all the difference!
