And then after a while, their wants for smoke willreduce gradually. Last but not least, prepare some candies in the pocket, whenpeople want to smoke, eat candies instead. Hope every smoker succeed in theend.

We meet smokers everywhere. There are 6.5 billion people in the world, andabout 1.2 billion of them are smokers, which make up to 20 percent of theworld's total population.
Smoking is very harmful. First, smoking costs a great deal of money. Itwastes 200 billion dollars each year in the world. Second,smoking does harm tothe health of smokers and even the people near them. About 3 million people dieof diseases caused by smoking every year.
Luckily, more and more people have come to realize the great harm ofsmoking. To our delight the total amount of world tobacco production has droppedfrom over 14 billion pounds in 20__ to 7 billion pounds in 20__. It is certainthat the number of smokers will further decrease gradually.
吸烟者到处可见。世界上有65亿人口，吸烟者占12亿，占世界总人口的20%。
吸烟有害。首先，吸烟需要花费大量金钱。全世界每年需要浪费掉20__亿美元。其次，吸烟对吸烟者和他周围的人有害，每年大约有300万人死于因吸烟而引起的疾病。

World No Tobacco Day started from April 7th, 1988. In 1989, World HealthOrganization changed this day into May 31. The essence of world no tobacco dayis to broadcast the idea that smoking is bad for people's health and make morepeople realize the harm of the tobacco. Every year there is a theme about thisday, and the theme of this year is raising tobacco tax rates.
世界无烟日始于1988年4月17日。在1989年，世界卫生组织把世界无烟日改为每年的5月31日，其理念是为了宣传烟草对人们的身体造成的伤害危害以及让更多的人知道它的危害。每一年的无烟日都有一个主题，而今年的主题是“提高烟草税”。
As we all know, tobacco is the raw material of cigarette. According to theleast data, 1700 billion cigarettes are being produced in China last year, morethan one million people die of smoking in 20__. Smoking has a close relationwith cancers. People who smoke for years are easier to have liver cancer, lungcancer, throat cancer than those not. Smoking is not only bad for people’shealth, but also pollutes the air. Those who take in second-hand smoke will alsosuffer from breathing infections. On the surface, smoking seems to be a personalthing, it has nothing to do with the whole country, but actually, it will cost alot of burden of the family, even the society.

The government should do something to make the public realize the harm ofsmoking. The places such as schools, cinemas, restaurants, railway stations mustnot be smoked. People should get rid the bad habit of smoke. This is not onlyfor themselves, but also for the whole world.
政府应该做些事情让公众明白吸烟的危害。公共场所例如学校、餐厅、火车站不允许吸烟。人们应该戒烟。这不仅仅是为了他们自己，也是为了这个世界。

a poet leads me to a branch road: on one side, there are lots of sweetapples, lovely and charming; on the other, there is a patch of thorn, what hidesbehind the success of struggling against the thorn is a splendid palace. ideeply know that if i choose the apples, i will give up aprecious opportunity ofbecoming a queen; while if i choose to challenge, i have to say farewell to theapples. which one should i choose?
just like the branch road, we have to make a lot of choices during ourlifetime. it is usually considered that we are choosing what to gain, to own,but in my opinion, we are just choosing to give up.
choosing to be a teacher means giving up the life as rich as a businessman;
choosing to be a top student means giving up much leisure time in front ofthe tv.
sure, it’s a torture, but we must judge carefully what is more important,then give up the others. don’t think of them any more, just focus all yourspirit on what you are doing.
i myself, who is standing here, have already chosen to challenge in such agreat competition, so i have to give up ten days of normal classes in school andrelaxation without pressure. but i am still pleased, because giving up properlymakes me stick to my choice.
