当幸福来敲门英文观后感

Recently, I have read a book named The Pursuit of Happiness. May be you have already seen the movie. But as for the spirit which can only described by the words, I have made a choice which is reading the book by myself. It‟s a very famous story and many people are moved by this story. When I close my eyes and think about my real world. Is there any trouble that I can‟t deal with exist? No, of cause not. Think about Chris Gardner, the hero of this book. How difficult the situation is when he gets no job, no money?

Chris hasn‟t seen his father until the age of 28. So he swears that he must be a great father for his son ----Christopher. But thinking about his career and the badly-off current. He has to lead his kid hang out every hospital to sell the bone scanners for money. Accidentally, he knows that act as a bill broker merely calls for knowledge of numbers. So he tried to find a manager in this field who named Jay twistie. With the help of persistence, interesting words and a Rubik‟s cube, he acquires a chance of being an intern in Jay‟s company. But there is only one person from six interns can be hired after six months‟ non-wage work. It‟s too difficult for Chris. At this moment, Chris‟ wife leaves them two and move to New York. In the cause of no enough money, Chris and his son lose their house. They even live in the public washroom. Everything comes to him who waits. Finally, Chris wins the job and creates his own company. Yes, he makes it!

The major goal of studying hard in college is getting a great job when graduate. In my mind, after four-year-study, finding job is an unworried thing. Although we may find ourselves deeply in a terrible situation, it won‟t be worse anymore. But what the hero has experienced completely turned my mind head to feet. We are those people who settling in a comfortable world——school. And it‟s time to thinking about the way to facing up with the competitive, cure and variety of burden of society.

This real story is the most impressive one for me. It is difficult to believe that the person who is the most successful business man used to sleeping in the washroom. As far as I‟m consider, those troubles which occur on Chris are unbelievable, because it‟s hard to image a people can overcome such difficult troubles. But Chris can make it! In the last few years, I have had to face many “tiny” troubles. I even have the thought of giving up. But now, I am not afraid of those troubles. And I believe this sentence: Everything comes to him who waits! The door of success which Chris opened evenly is not only his hope, but also the sign to everyone.

Here are some sentences which may help everyone: Don‟t ever let somebody tell you, you cant do something, not even me. And this one: You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People cant do something themselves, they wanna tell you you cant do it. If you want something, go get it. Period. And please keep them in mind, then „go get it‟!

当幸福来敲门英文观后感(2)

I don’t know for sure whether it is the cold or the movie that kept me tossing and turning in bed, but one thing is certain: many scattered fragments of the movie again and again flashed in my mind. My cell phone read 4:16 am at that time, but I was not sleepy at all. So I decided to get up and write something.

"The Pursuit of Happyness" -- the title comes from a misspelled schoolhouse mural -- has a lot on its mind but mostly this: If America is about the promise of bettering oneself, why does it have to be so freaking hard? In the movie, Jeffersons Declaration of Independence words about happiness kept recurring to Chris Gardner. Every day, Christ had to work hard from morning till night, but still could hardly make a living. Chris saw a bunch of suits, mostly male, pouring out of the Dean Witter Reynolds brokerage firm in downtown San Francisco. They all looked “happy,” “Why not me? “ Christ wondered. He did have an adorable boy, Christopher, but wife Linda was becoming a scarecrow of overworked anxiety. Finally, his wife left Christ because of life pressure, leaving him and her five-year-old son, Christopher. And naturally, Christ became a single father.

With the failure of his business, Christ had no money to pay for the rent, so they were driven away from the flat. They became homeless. They slept in asylum, subway station public bathroom or anywhere as a temporary shelter. The destitution of life was absolutely depressing, but for his son’s future, for his own belief, Christ never gave up and he still strongly believed that happiness would come one day if he worked hard enough today.

With his great efforts, Christ won a six-month internship at Dean Witter, but there was no pay at all. So on one hand, Christ had to work hard to make a living; on the other hand, he had to fight for his intern work, since only one of the twenty interns would succeed finally. Besides, he had to take good care of his son after day care. However, Christ made it with his amazing willpower.

Christ was unfortunate, for he got a wife who was not understandable at all (though she has her own difficulties) and was in bad luck with his business. But he was very fortunate also, for he got a son who was very thoughtful and, I think, tough life experiences always make a great person.

It is said that this movie is inspired by a true story, and I want to say, this movie does inspire me a lot. What impressed me most are: Christ’s wife left him because of life pressure; Christ’s love to his son and Christ’s strong belief towards life. Through these, I know that it is not easy to be a good husband and a good Papa, since in reality, only love cannot only make everything. And I also learn that one has to strongly believe in himself, no matter how difficult the situation is, but of course, hard-working is indispensable.

I like to watch The Pursuitof Happyness.

From Gardner, who realized that what I do is the real men and how to do good is the real father.

Christopher was from, I feel the childs innocence and ignorance, how is the good son.

You gotta dream, you gotta protect it. If you have a dream, you theprotection on it.

This is a great father to his sons care and education Christopher In many cases, we would like to see a movie may be silly to pass the time, saying that some of the good, or it may be trained to listen to hearing English spoken. This inspirational film, I look at it with the problem. What I can learn.

From despair to find hope Out of society, have no choice but to work hard, as long as solely, nothing is insurmountable unless heaven or hell.

Christophers cute in his ignorance and innocence which Christopher has always been the man could in his father through thick and thin,no complaints. Im impressed the most is his father said to him "I trust you",

I think this is that they are able to Gardner in countless ting in front of the biggest setbacks from the power and reason.

当幸福来敲门英文观后感(3)

If you\ve ever been poor, this movie may be hard to watch. It depicts poverty in America in gut wrenchingly accurate ways. I\ve been as poor as Chris Gardner, and, like him, I\ve been poor among very rich people in the Bay Area while trying to work my way up.

Chris Gardner is a loving father and failing businessman. He is chosen for a competitive internship at Dean Witter, a stock brokerage. The internship, which offers Chris a very long shot at a better life, doesn\t pay any salary. Chris has to live without a salary for six months while risking just about everything for that long shot gamble.

Chris is really smart. He can solve a Rubrik\s cube in minutes. But, he\s poor. Poverty, like an octopus, keeps trying to suck him down to the bottom, and make him stay there.

His car is towed. His wife walks out on him, leaving him with a five year old son. He is arrested for unpaid traffic tickets. He becomes homeless. He has to rely on a homeless shelter.

All this while, he must appear for work in the morning in a suit and tie, and be ready to charm some of the wealthiest and most powerful people in the Bay Area. These people take wealth so much for granted that two of them stiff him for cab fare.

Having lived through similar experiences, I cringed throughout this movie. My stomach hurt. I winced. I cried. I hugged my knees to my chest.

The movie is very accurate, but painful to watch. I hope a lot of rich people, who think that they understand poverty, see it.

This movie will be politically controversial. First of all, it doesn\t touch the race issue with a ten foot pole. For example, when Chris appears to stiff a taxi driver for fare (it was really the rich white guy who failed to pay), the taxi driver never uses the "n" word. In real life, I think he probably would have.

Is the movie afraid to talk about race, or does it not want to? I don\t know, but I know that some will protest the movie\s not shoving race in the movie goer\s face. I\m not one of those people. The movie\s approach to race -- treating it as almost incidental -- worked for me. As a poor white person, I can tell you that poor white people face the same obstacles Chris did.

Second, does the movie sell the message that if you work hard, you will succeed, no matter what, and does that message tell the truth about success in America? I think that the movie is open to interpretation. Some will see it as an indictment of poverty in America. The scene of carefree rich people driving past the line to get into a homeless shelter is pretty devastating. Other people will become angry because they believe that the movie\s depiction of hard work leading to rewards, in some cases, is too facile. I disagree, but that\s what you\ll hear.

Third, is this movie meant to chastise black men who abandon their children? Chris is a role model exactly because he moves heaven and earth to be a good father to his son. This will be debated back and forth.

The movie has a big philosophical statement to make, that has been lost on many reviewers, for example, Richard Schickel in TIME.

Chris is shown running throughout the movie. Remember the title of the movie: "The PURSUIT of Happiness." Chris places emphasis on "pursuit." Jefferson, when he penned the Declaration of Independence, did not promise Americans happiness, but only the right to pursue it. Chris says, at one point in the movie, paraphrase, "I am happy right now. It is a fleeting moment." We experience happiness in eyeblinks. The rest of the time we, like Chris, are chasing after it.

当幸福来敲门英文观后感(4)

Recently, I have seen a touching and encouraging film which named The Pursuit of Happiness. To be honest, during watching this movie, sometimes I laughed happily, sometimes I burst into tears. I was sympathy to the man in story for his unfortunate. This movie which emits a slim of light into every desperate heart did give me a big shock and impressed me deeply, and the strong power of Chris has been influencing me all the time.

If one person who had nothing wanted to succeed, how should he do? I never thought about the answer, but I got it after I saw the film “The Pursuit of Happiness”. The answer is “keep happy and pursuit the happiness forever”.

Here are mainly three characters: Chris Gardner、Christopher、Linda, and the leading character is Chris Gardner, the father. This movie is based on a true story of famous self-made millionaire, Chris Gardner who is filled with energy, creativity and confidence.

There was a man called Chris Gardner who worked hard day and night, but still could hardly make a living. Finally, his wife left Chris because of life pressure, leaving him and their five-year-old son, Christopher. And naturally, Chris became a single father. He had to rush out persuading doctors to buy his scanner. With the failure of his trying, Chris had no money to pay for the rent, so they slept in asylum, public bathroomor anywhere as a temporary shelter. The destitution of life was absolutely depressing, but for his son’s future and his own belief, Chris never gave up, and he strongly believed that happiness would come one day if he worked hard enough today. With his great efforts and amazing willpower, he eventually became a successful investor, coming to his day of happiness.

At the beginning of the movie, when Chris Gardner came across Chinatown, he pointed at the world Happiness on the wall, saying that there is no Y in “Happiness”, it’s an I. Coming to think of it, we are always asking ourselves why we always find others in happiness but not ourselves. This point impressed me a lot, we should pursuit our happiness on our own. When we face difficulties, we had better think about Chris’ situation, believing that happiness is simple, and then I’m sure that nothing will hurt you anymore. So let’s take the letter “I” instead of the letter “Y” in happiness.

People often say that life itself is always more dramatic than fiction invented. The Pursuit of Happiness is based on the true story of black stockbroker Christopher Gardner’s life experience. It tells the story of difficulties, successes, dreams, and happiness. The plot is very simple; the thoughts are clear and easy to understand. It is a typical encouraging film of American style. It praise striving spirit, supportsthe belief that if only you struggled today, you would win success tomorrow. At the same time, the love between father and son shines everywhere in the movie, and makes it more emotional, which strengthens the fighting will and determination with soft and tender moving scenes. This movie brings us, especially those in poor and awkward situation, great confidence, courage and hope, which shows us shinning light forever in the darkness, and strengthens us the belief that we can walk toward that warm light through tough trudge.

This movie has many impressive plots and scenes, of which there are two very special scenes in my opinion. One is that Gardner, wearing very dirty clothes with paints on it and totally in a mess, hurried to the stock company to take an interview from the prison. He won every interviewee’s approval with his sincerity, confidence, and humor. “----What would you say if a man walked here with no shirt, and I hired him? What would you say? -----he must have had on some really nice pant.” Every time these lines come to my mind, they bring me pleasant surprise. At the lowest point, with many disadvantages, Gardner has courage to try his best to fight the last battle and he has optimistic attitude to life, as well as his wit all fills me with admiration. The other is that the father and son were homeless, and had to sleep in the washroom of the subway. At night, someone wanted to use the washroom, knocking at the door. Watching at his son sleeping tight in his bosom, Gardner butted the door with his foot, tears at last falling on his cheek, all his sorrow and endurance released from the quiet tears.

I like the end of the film very much. The father and son walked on the broad street hand in hand, talking and laughing about finny things, the sound being so tender, warm, and full of the flavor of the sunshine and happiness. Everyone wants to be happy, in that Vanity Fairs world, everyone is constantly running for happiness, as the same as Smith.  It is a story about belief. “Don’t ever let someone tell you cannot do something.”

It is a story about striving. “You want something. Go get it.”

It is a story about love. “ You gotta trust me, all right?”

  “All right.”

It is a story about dreams. “If you had a dream, you gotta protect it.”

As a matter of fact, different people have different understanding of happiness. And surely, everybody is eager to pursuit their own happiness. Perhaps, we are weighed down with the pressure of life, but as long as you pay more attention to the details of our life, you will find that happiness always around us. Only when we never to give up, neverto afraid defeat, can we own happiness. It doesn’t lack of happiness in our life, just in want of eyes to discover and hearts to feel the happiness. Just like Chris Gardner, he had nothing in his life but his son’s love and support, I think that is the biggest happiness.

Actually, the essence of happiness is in the pursuit itself, in the pursuit of what is engaging and life – changing, which is to say, in the idea of becoming. A person is not measured by what he possess or wants to posses, but what he wants to becoming.

当幸福来敲门英文观后感(5)

I have seen《The Pursuit of Happiness》 several days ago , but I cant forget Chris and his spirits until now . To be honest , this move is really a big shock to me , and the strong power in Chris has been influencing me all the time .

  Characters and the climate

There are mainly three characters : Chris Gardner 、Christopher、 Linda ,and the leading character is Chris Gardner ,the father. The whole atmosphere is positive ,though there is a large part describing the  bitter struggles of Chris ,his spirit is inspiring , and there is no disappear but hope and stable belief in happiness.

  Development of events

The story of Chris Gardner is divided into six part ,I will introduce them one by one .

Part one : Riding the bus

It was in San Francisco 1981, Chris spent all his money on buying medical equipments , but later he found that they were unpopular among doctors ,because they were expensive and almost useless . everyday he did his best to promote the equipment to doctors ,but he cant earn enough for the rent and kindergarten , his life was not easy .

  Part two: Being stupid

In this part ,Chris had to apply for a work as a stock woker ,so he left the medical equipment with a girl ,but the girl took it away ! what a accident !

  Part three : Running

He rann after the girl who had stolen the equipment ,finally ,he took it back ,another situation is that he had no money for the taxi ,so he escaped ;Third ,he was sent to the prison for owing the taxes ,and the next morning ,he ran to the stock company for a interview with paint stains on his body .

  Part four : Internship

Chris got the job as a internship for six months without salary ,,it was really a hard time for him ,he had to sell the equipment while working as a internship. Afterall , he earned some money from the medical equipments

  Part five : Paying taxes

In this part ,there was a big hit to him ,the government took $600 from his account and he only had $21.33 left ,he was broke again .this part was the most impressive but inspiring one .During that time ,he and his son spent a night in the WC ,and lived in the church hospice for many days ,although there were many barriers ,he carried on seeking for the happiness.

  Part six : Happiness

It was an exciting part ,Chris was succeed ,and he did it finally ,he became a successful stock worker!

  My views on the story

After the move ,I thought of many things :we hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equally , that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights ,that among these are life ,liberty and the pursuit of happiness . I think Chris must have read the above paragraph for many times and believed it unswervingly.

At the beginning of the move, after Chris has sent Christopher to the kindergarten , he saw a wrong word on the wall ,and said the famous sentence : There is no Y in happiness ,the only thing we can do is striving for our own happiness voluntarily .Just like Chris do.

The silly scene of taking a bus was a part of Chris Gardners life , in the move , Chris Gardner ,a poor father ,who had his wife left him ,because she couldt handle her life without financial security .while Chris was selling medical equipment to doctors , she decided get away from her poor family . Although under great pressure , Chris chose to stick it out, and fight for what he known he can do ,for him ,and for his son. He is strong in spirit ,whatever barriers he meet ,he just continued his work and never stopped running .but it looks like that god likes to play tricks with him , he had gone through more hardships than others before the final success .

I think it is really a good move ,we are unique and we are ourselves ,just hold a dream and do what you can do ,and do your best ,dont ever let somebody tell you that you cant do something .If you want something ,go and get it . It is said that the move is from a true story ,so we should believe the sentence that “Everything is possible” .

Like Chriss forefathers ,who posses the desire and the passion to live it ,who dream the American dream . In the end he finally made his dream come true ,he became a banker. “Hey ,dad ,listen to this ,knock, knock ”I know who was there .he was happiness .

The Pursuit of Happiness is really an excellent move , after watching it ,I cant calm my heart down for a long time, there are tears on my face ,but smile in my heart ,I think Chris is a good example for all of us ,just be optimistic and go to  realize your dream.
