摘 要
流行音乐进课堂的问题，在上世纪90年代前后曾1度成为中小学音乐教育的热点问题，先是我国在建国40多年之后于1999年教育方针正式恢复美育目标，接着《音乐课程标准》对音乐教育价值进行了调整。从价值意义上对音乐教学内容向审美兴趣、多元文化转向作了理论上的认定，这都为流行音乐进入课堂在政策上铺平了道路，本文从流行音乐的概念入手，通过对流行音乐及音乐教育界对它的态度的发展转变的回顾，对流行音乐进课堂的可能性，操作性等方面进行了探讨。
