Dear Visa Officer,
This letter is to confirm that we, M and N, would like to invite N's mother x to visit us in City, State. The intended duration of her visit will be three to six months if possible. She plans to leave for City in late Month (please see details in the Travel Plan document).
We came to the United States in YEAR right after M got his employment offer from COMPANY. There was no time for us to visit N's mother before we left our home country, nor were we able to make a trip back to China during the Spring Festival because M's project schedule is tight.
We are missing our parents. Since N's mother x has retired from her job in the COMPANY, we would like to invite her to the U.S. and enjoy family time together for a few months. As shown in our travel plan, we are going to have fun and do some shopping in and around CITY.

4. Copies of M and N's passports, ID cards released by Chinese government, VISA stamps, SSN cards, I-20xx forms, I-94 forms, and marriage certificate
5. x's Retirement Certificate issued by the government, bank statement of her pension account, passport, ID card, residential certificate (Hukou), etc.
6. Photos of the family
