本课时为第六单元第一课时，包括两部分Let’s talk 和Count and say .Let’s talk部分通过Sam和妈妈在蛋糕店买蛋糕的场景让学生感知核心句型How many…?的语意及语用情境。Count and say部分呈现了准备生日派对的物品，其作用是通过一个生日派对的情境图进行数数活动来操练How many…? Five/Two…。的句型。
